New BSP lamination stacking control: Greater efficiency in rotor-stator manufacturing

BRUDERER’s new BSP lamination stacking control is an efficient solution for the growing market of electric motor and transformer component manufacturing. Based on our new B3 control technology, it is designed to enable complex lamination stacking strategies with simple, intuitive operation.
The BSP supports high-precision stacking strategies with up to eight programmable channels used in parallel. Reusable sheet metal shapes, comprehensive diagnostic and statistical functions, and the ability to export relevant process data enable targeted optimisation in line with Industry 4.0 principles.
A key feature is automatically configuring components, which speed up tool set-up and reduce the risk of errors. Up to six indexing stations can be set up via plug-and-play. Motors are automatically detected, parameterised and monitored, and also sliders and tool monitors set themselves automatically, eliminating the need for time-consuming manual adjustments.
Extensive process control
Comprehensive measurement and monitoring technology is in integral part of the BSP lamination stacking control. In addition to position monitoring for up to eight channels, it offers a patented strip measurement system with stack height control. Material fluctuations of ±0,01 mm or more are detected inline and automatically compensated for, ensuring consistent product dimensions.
BRUDERER’s new BSP lamination stacking control is available either integrated into the B3 control system or as a stand-alone version.
